Exit Strategy Planning
ODZ assesses every acquisition through a defined hold period and a structured exit pathway. Knowing how and when an asset will be sold, and to whom, is part of deciding whether to buy it in the first place.
Exit clarity from the start
Before recommending an asset, we ask who the likely buyer will be at the end of the hold period and what will make the property attractive to them. Assets with a narrow or uncertain resale market carry hidden risk, however attractive the entry price.
Timing with market cycles
We set a target holding horizon and review it as conditions change. Signals such as new supply, shifts in rental demand or strong pricing in comparable stock can bring an exit forward or justify holding for longer.
Executing the exit
When the time comes, the plan becomes a sale strategy: valuation, pricing, buyer targeting and negotiation. Because the exit was considered at acquisition, the process is faster and more controlled.
